About Robert Kothe
Robert Kothe graduated college with a BS degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Computer Science from SUNY New Paltz in upstate New York.
After Graduation Robert started as a Sales Associate with the AT&T Phone Center. As a Sales Associate he frequently won top sales person for the entire New York District for Growth Products (Phone Systems). Robert was also the recipient of the AT&T “Shared Value Award” which is only given to a few people per year. Within a short period of time Robert was put in the Management training program and soon made the Manager of Astoria Queens and later Jericho New York.
AT&T GBCS lured Robert away from the Phone Center Division and Robert became an outside salesman for high-end phone systems and Interactive Voice Response Systems.
While Robert Kothe was with AT&T the company changed names to Lucent Technologies.
After Robert left Lucent he had several jobs in telecommunications including selling Phone systems, Structured cabling, Voice Mail Systems and call management Software.
Robert worked for Software Company, Optel Communications, which specialized in Telecommunications, Distance Education and Video Conferencing. When Michael, the Vice President of Sales left this company, Robert started his first business doing Sales support for Michael and Tandberg Video Conferencing in the field of Video Conferencing for Distance Education and Telemedicine. Robert generated leads and contacts to this day that still makes Tandberg Millions of dollars in sales.
During this period of time Robert also wrote his first book, "Millionaires' Secrets Revealed" published in 2002.
Robert expanded his business to include Fax Broadcasting, Fax-on-demand and eventually Websites.
In April 2002, Robert was exposed to a very unique website creation tool which was one of the industries represented by MarketAmerica.com The website division is known as Market America WebCenters.
Robert became a leader and organizer and helped run both Suffolk County and Nassau County New York for 4 years as the Unfranchise Business Presentation Coordinator. Robert also was a regular speaker in rotation at these meetings.
After Robert trained his successors he continued to volunteer with Market America as the Manager of electronics and presentations where he runs the committee that sets up and organizes the electronics for meetings and presentations. Robert also DJ’s for events with up to 2500 people in attendance.
MarketAmerica.com is a business where Independent Unfranchise Owners are have an incentive to help other independent business owners earn money. Robert helps manage a team of over 50 people and it is growing quickly.
In 2008, one of Robert’s website customers, Economic Evaluation Group, Inc., like Roberts Marketing ideas and brought him on as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Robert Runs his website business from this Jericho office as well as networks with LIBRA, the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and the HIA. Robert is a volunteer on many committees with these organizations and is a regular with business card exchanges and business events.
Today Robert is on his way to earning substantial residual income with MarketAmerica.com as well as good short-term income. Robert and Cathy are also landlords with an investment apartment.
Robert’s hobbies include boating, golf, and Robert is a Master Diver in Scuba diving and accomplished the certification of Assistant Instructor with NAUI.
Robert has been married since 1994 and has two dogs Sweetie and Oreo.
